Like most children, sometimes Liam is more interested in the box that something came in, than the actual “thing.” And that’s OK (assuming you can return it). But then there’s those moments where it’s love at first sight. And some of those childhood toy crushes can come as a complete surprise to mom and dad.
- His vacuum. Liam’s most beloved toy is his little Dyson vacuum cleaner, he has never tired of playing with it, and I’m fairly certain he’ll take it with him if he goes away to college.
- A handle. Liam’s first love may have been a handle that never secured to the push along bubble thingy. I suspect the handle may have expanded his autonomy, or something like that.
- His Slug. The ride along B-toy slug is just adorable, and he looks so cute riding on it!
- A ball. ANY ball!
- Like most toddlers, Liam has a bunch of plush stuffed animals and whatnot. He calls them “his guys.” Russell the squirrel is one of his faves!
- Books. ANY book. I know, it’s not “a toy,” but this is the one we’re most proud of! Liam asks us at least 4 times a day to read him a book! In an upcoming post, I’ll highlight some of his faves!
- Side walk chalk. Yep, good ol’ non flashy, simple (and messy) sidewalk chalk. Like books, a great way to spend some quality interactive time with your little person.
