Owning your mantra: How a key phrase can be the most mindful part of your day
When I think about what frustrates me the most about being a parent, it’s got to be the inability to understand Liam when he’s trying so hard to explain something to me. Which, when you peel back the layers, the frustration for us both boils down to a lack of control. His frustration makes me frustrated and it’s a cycle that’s hard to break. However, a single phrase you tell yourself and one that is reserved for your child can help guide the interaction. Own your mantra and your kids will too.
